Included in the order are two sets of dual charcoal filters. Each set of filters last from 3 to 6-month and keep any potential odors from escaping. Using compost pail filters make it easy to keep a compost pail inside because you never notice any smells. Once a compost pail is full of kitchen scraps, it should be emptied into a compost bin or pile to start breaking down into usable compost.
